Elfman Becomes 'Obsessed' for Lifetime While Lifetime has aired more than one woman-in-peril movie, the tables appear to get turned in the upcoming "Obsessed."
Jenna Elfman ("Dharma & Greg") will star as Ellena Roberts, a medical writer who is arrested for harrassing a doctor with whom she claims to have had an affair. A family man, the physician swears that no affair ever took place. As Ellena prepares for trial, she details the affair for her attorney. However, as her lawyer starts looking at her client's life more closely she's not sure what to believe.
"Jenna Elfman's exceptional talent and her unique rapport with the audience will lend a tremendous believability to this provocative role," says Trevor Walton, the cable network's senior vice president of original movies.
